Hi there! I'm Angela 😄

As a lifelong learner, I have always believed that learning should feel meaningful and empowering. I'm lucky enough to have experience in education, technology, data analysis, and design. As an Instructional Designer, I'm able to use these skills to design learning experiences that last. As an Product Manager, I lean on my experiences to provide creatively effective solutions to problems that others couldn't quite isolate. I truly enjoy translating complex ideas into clear lessons with pleasing visual design that increase accessibility for every learner. This supports organizational strategy development in that both learning and product management require the dvelopment of roadmaps that take you from Here to There without distractions. (Think more Chutes and Ladders and less Labyrinth, but leave in the costumes and music.) Impactful solutions are my ultimate goal. Adding Text to an Image in Canva

Problem: Employees rely on one or two people to teach/reteach others on process.
Solution: Microlearning course for employees with step-by-step process that was easily added to LMS. Elements in training mimic the process to give learners practice before trying it on Canva.
Result: Decreased time by 75% that the team spent on repeating the lesson for new employees or as a refresher for existing employees.

Logging Into Canva

Problem: Microlearning course needs video to show related process.
Solution: Screen recording with voiceover embedded into course.
Result: Decrease training for people who already know how to log in with an outside account, saving 15% in training time and costs.

Problem: Lesson materials on setting and achieving goals.
Solution: ILT with training slides, trainer guide, and participant guide to use with each training session. Can be altered as required and accessed on-the-go. Provided Word, Canva, and PDF versions to client.
